Hi again,
I love Christmas!! Don’t you?
Before I get into the meat of the matter today. I have this to say to you. If you are feeling lonely, if you are without a family or your family this Christmas, here is a suggestion to you. Go out and help someone. Yea!! Volunteer at shelter, an orphanage or a senior citizens’ home. Share a hug, a smile, be someones company that is alone, help someone to feel the way you want to feel and I guarantee that you will experience the joy, peace and love of God.
In the bible it says that “God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land”. Psalm 68:6 NLT version. His word is true. He has placed me in families for years now but as I reflect, I am sadden because I did not appreciate the families he had placed me in. I was so focus on wanting my own family that I could not accept or be grateful to God or those families I was placed in. I am sorry KM and I thank you for sharing your family with me. I tell you everyone, I am being helped as I share with you.
I am in a new family now and though I was shutting them out, I have a chance to change that. Thank God! Today is a new day!! I shall embrace this family as my own as much as I can. What am I getting at? Well, do good and good things will happen to you.
I promised you something yesterday and I shall deliver. I will fulfill my promise in my blog later.
